Job Description

Aluminum Die Cast Business Development Manager / Midwest will focus primarily on developing new business and applications, as well as the management of existing accounts. Responsible for generating sales leads as well as marketing and selling manufactured die cast products. Tasked to provide a consultative selling approach by providing top to bottom solutions to customers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Manage exiting accounts in the area for all market segment and customer activities

Develop new business by working with production staff and Product Managers as needed

Manage new growth projects

Grow current territory accounts, manage growth projects

Create a pipeline for future business

Must be involved in special projects as needed

Maintain CRM system

Job Requirements

Minimum Skills Required / Desired:

Bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering; equivalent experience may substitute 7 years selling manufacturing or industrial industry products, preferably die cast metals

Solid understanding of alloy metals and die cast processes

Effective verbal /writing skills and strong presentation skills

Must be energetic, goals-driven, result-oriented, and high-energy to be effective in this role

Must be willing to travel overnight (short term, frequent travel)
