Salary: $80,000 – $95,000/year + 5% bonus

Shift: Days: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (3-2-2-3 schedule) Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (3-2-2-3 schedule)

About the Role

This role leads maintenance operations in a highly automated facility, supporting uptime, team development, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Job Responsibilities

Lead and develop a unionized maintenance team with a strong focus on safety and collaboration

Assign and oversee maintenance work while troubleshooting equipment issues to reduce downtime

Diagnose equipment problems using PLC ladder logic (no programming required)

Support installation, maintenance, and optimization of automated and servo-driven systems

Manage preventive maintenance programs and respond to breakdowns

Maintain accurate work orders and records using SAP or similar CMMS

Support capital projects and continuous improvement initiatives

Partner with inventory and procurement to ensure critical spare parts availability

Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred

2–5+ years of industrial maintenance experience, including leadership or lead experience

Background in highly automated manufacturing environments (food, beverage, or pharmaceutical preferred)

Strong troubleshooting skills with PLCs and automated systems

Experience with electrical, mechanical, and servo-driven equipment

Union environment experience strongly preferred

Certifications in electrical, welding, or refrigeration are a plus
