Position Description:

The IT Infrastructure Architect/Technical Lead will advise IT Management of all technical considerations for the current global infrastructure consisting of servers, storage, backup, and Active Directory, VMware, and migration projects. Work closely with other Enterprise Computing team members, application teams, and business owners to establish current and future state systems architectures across multiple technologies.

The ideal candidate should have broad and deep technical skills in multiple technical domains such as server hardware, operating systems, storage/backup, security, Active Directory, VMware, migration projects, and knowledge of network infrastructure. This role also demands strong organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead and influence a team of technical engineers on technology direction, standards, tools, and process. Participate in annual technology planning to identify where technology investments are needed and where technical architectures need updating.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support for enterprise servers, storage, backup, and systems integration projects.

• Take ownership of technical issues through to resolution

• Provides SOX-compliant evidence, audits, logs, etc. as well as responds to all assigned audit points

• Maintain Disaster Recovery configuration/plans and execute Disaster Recovery tests

• Play a leading role in the vision and development of the company's future technology direction.

• Identifies, implements and monitors best practices for technology architecture while providing expert advice on key infrastructure initiatives

• Ensures infrastructure installations and upgrades are made in accordance with established policies, procedures and standards

• Facilitate meetings with various technical teams, business owners, and third party vendors

• Advise IT Management on technical issues and risks

• Advise and oversee implementation of technology solutions that provide a scalable, reliable and predictable computing environment

• Provide technical sponsorship, guidance and leadership for delivery and implementation of multiple large projects

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree in MIS, Computer Science, or comparable

• 3-5 years' experience in a similar lead role within a large enterprise organization

• 10+ years of IT industry experience

• Certifications from Microsoft, VMware, Six Sigma, and ITIL are desirable

• Must have experience with Windows server 2003/2008/2012

• Must have experience with Active Directory, group policy, and other LDAP technologies

• Must have experience Application/Web technologies: IIS, Apache Tomcat, NET framework

• Must have experience in Virtualization Technologies: VMWare, VDI, Citrix 5

• Must have experience in Problem Management, Change Management and Major Incident Management

• Must have experience in Netbackup or comparable backup technology

• Working knowledge of enterprise class SAN/NAS storage frames. Working knowledge of TCP/IP (DNS and DHCP), Ethernet networks
