Optimum Source, Inc. is in search for IT Helpdesk Support (Night Shift) to join one of our Offshore clients.


Install Microsoft Updates to laptop and desktop computers

•Utilize Numera Track-it software to assign and update work orders as they arrive in queue

•Install and replace drivers on HP Desktops on Lenovo laptops

•PXE (pixie) boot laptop and desktop for updates/maintenance and repair procedures

•Spearhead first quarter archiving project that creates mail archive for all MS Exchange accounts

•Troubleshoot archiving problems experienced by Outlook users

•Repair corrupted outlook archive files utilizing SCANPST.exe

•Install and upgrade software on HP Desktop Lenovo Laptop computers

•Install and ran updates for Symantec antivirus software

•Visit client locations to evaluate and address PC and laptop computing problems

•Replaced defective power supplies and other internal parts on HP desktops

•Contact vendors on warranty and replacement parts for computers, laptops and monitors

•Provide phone support for clients calling into the MDRC helpdesk

•Provide and install drivers for Lenovo Laptop and HP Desktop computers

•Update inventory on all computer equipment usage by MDRC employees and consultants

•Trouble shoot networking issues for both wireless and network cable connections

•Install peripheral printers, scanners and other technical devices as requested by users

•Liaison with back office (network engineers) to resolve advanced network, Exchange and application issues

•Provide tutorials for users on remote access to MDRC internal network via Cisco VPN software (AnyConnect)

•Utilize terminal services, Win 7 Remote assistance and Webex applications to provide remote support for users working offsite

•Utilize Clonezilla application to install new images on HP desktops and Lenovo laptops

•Prep, configure and distribute computers to incoming new corporate employees and consutants

•Set up projectors, desktops and laptops for various presentations in conference rooms as needed

•Provided tutorials for employees on Webex application which allow audio, video and web conferencing


At least 3 to 5 years experience in IT Helpdesk,

Must be a graduate of BS Information Technology or equivalent

Willing to work in Ortigas Center, Pasig City.
