Job Title: Contract IT Support Specialist
Location: Columbus, Ohio
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled IT Support Specialist on a contract basis to join our team in Columbus, Ohio. The ideal candidate will provide technical support and assistance to ensure the smooth operation of our IT systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems in a timely manner.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and applications.
- Assist in the setup and deployment of new equipment and software updates.
- Document and track support requests and resolutions using a ticketing system.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to improve system performance and user experience.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in Windows and Mac operating systems.
- Experience with network troubleshooting and configuration.
- Familiarity with remote desktop applications and help desk software.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and other common software applications.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with cloud-based solutions such as AWS or Azure.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices.
- Certification in CompTIA A+, Network+, or equivalent.
