A manufacturer of custom, extremely complex automated biotechnology equipment ( there are 5 dozen robots on their largest products), is growing and expanding their software/firmware group, and would like to add an experienced software engineer to the team.
Please have a BS/BA degree in software engineering, IT, CIS, or related, or a technical degree with strong software development skills. Solid knowledge of Java, JavaScript, or other 4G languages (C/C++, Python, or Rust), and experience working with Robots, robotics or automated machinery – equipment. Another option is a solid software engineer with the above skills who loves mechanical or electrical projects ( machine shop, automotive repair, fixing equipment…) Or software that controls physical products, especially movement.
These positions are on-site, five days a week, in Hartford, CT. Relocation assistance is available. The candidates must be either entry-level or have a few years of experience. The salary is in the $100,000 to $135,000 range. Benefits are top-notch and include up to $6,000 per year for advanced education. Candidates must be US citizens or permanent residents.
