Field Service Technician

and out-of-warranty equipment. With over 25 years of experience, we serve some of North

America's largest IT companies and direct commercial accounts, offering comprehensive

support for various equipment types. We manage 15,000+ certified technicians, servicing over

252,000 locations across the U.S., Canada, and Puerto Rico.

We are looking for a qualified candidate to provide onsite Deskside Support to our client.

Compensation

Job Type: 1099 Independent Contractor- Hcl Cox

Rate: $33 - $35 per hour – Onsite time only

Workdays: alternate tuesday visits

Work Hours: Local Business Hours

LOCATION: 22 South Fairview Avenue

Job Responsibilities

Provide on-site service and customer support during field visits.

Manage installation, repair, maintenance, and testing of equipment.

Diagnose errors or technical issues and identify appropriate solutions.

Produce detailed and timely service reports.

Document processes and procedures.

Adhere to company protocols and field procedures.

Operate vehicles safely and use field automation systems.

Collaborate with the technical team and share information.

Build and maintain positive customer relationships.

Comprehend customer requirements and provide recommendations.

Perform basic installation and hardware repairs for major brand equipment.

Additional Information

Service events are on-site at commercial locations (offices, retail), with occasional

residential clients.

Technicians are required to return unused or broken parts using a prepaid shipping label.

Qualifications

Proven field service experience.

Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair, and service technical equipment.

English literacy.

Ability to work flexible shifts and adapt to changing schedules.

Familiarity with mobile tools and applications.

Technical degree or certification.

Option to sign up for specific equipment types (desktops, laptops, printers, servers, etc.).

Work System

Technicians are notified via BAM, our web system, with details of service requirements

(equipment, time, and location).

A portal (TECHWA) allows technicians to view, accept, or decline work, upload service

receipts, and track payments.
