Hybrid.Net Developer Position
This position is hybrid and currently requires weekly (one day a week) on site presence at the State of Office Tower. 30 East Broad Street, Columbus, Ohio 43215
Job Description: This project will redesign the current information system infrastructure, preparing it for forthcoming initiatives which will re-imagine the bi-directional data collection, data sharing, and data analytics of the agency and its partners. A team of nine individuals (4 Programmers, 2 Project Managers, 1 Database Administrator, 1 Network Engineer, 1 Quality Assurance) will be added to prepare the existing infrastructure and technology environments for future re-design initiatives. Activities include:
Migrate applications to latest version and resolve Security Vulnerabilities
Migrate applications hosted in Legacy server to ID domain server
Application Branding & Standardization
Assess and migrate apps to cloud
Infrastructure Modernization
Certificate Based Authentication
VLAN1 clean-up
Azure Infrastructure for Application
VMWare to Cloud
Migrating from Jscape to Cloud
SQL server consolidation
Migrate SQL server On-Prem to Azure
Report conversion to Power BI/Tableau
Experience: This position is for (4).Net Developer Experience: 8-9 plus years and preferred education: 4 year college degree or equivalent technical study with advance study preferred. Experience in working with dot net framework (4.8.1) and dotnet core 8, Blazer, C#. Experience in building cloud native applications. Knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Experience in Azure DevOps, Agile, unit testing. Certification in Microsoft Azure will be a plus.
