We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a reputable franchised car dealership and Bosch accredited service centre in Farnborough, seeking to appoint a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled and experienced Diagnostic Vehicle Technician to join a modern, well-equipped workshop environment and deliver high-quality diagnostics and mechanical repairs for a wide range of vehicles, including prestige and multi-franchised brands.

Benefits: Up to £40,000 basic salary, with overtime paid at 1.5x rate Performance-based bonus scheme 42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday plus Saturday mornings on a rota (1 in 4) State-of-the-art workshop facilities, including new ramps and heated garage Ongoing training and development programmes to enhance your technical skills Supportive, family-run environment prioritising teamwork and employee well-being Opportunities for career progression within a well-established dealership groupDuties as a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician: Perform complex vehicle diagnostics using the latest diagnostic tools and software Carry out mechanical repairs, servicing, and maintenance to manufacturer standards Identify and resolve technical issues efficiently, ensuring high customer satisfaction Accurately record all work completed for compliance and customer records Collaborate with the workshop team to maintain high standards of service Mentor and support junior technicians, sharing expertise and knowledgeRequirements: NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or extensive industry experience as a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician Proven experience in diagnostics and mechanical repairs, preferably with prestige or multi-franchised vehicles, as a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician Proficiency with diagnostic tools, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail Full UK driving licence preferred Enthusiastic, flexible, and committed to personal and professional developmentJoining our client’s workshop team as a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician offers the chance to work in a modern facility with excellent amenities, ongoing training, and career advancement opportunities.
