IT Service Technicians (Kansas City, MO)

ITSM FieldTechs is expanding coverage in Missouri and adding dependable technicians for dispatched work orders and short project deployments. This opportunity fits independent contractors, gig workers, students or interns with hands-on ability, small tech companies, and career-switchers who can work professionally on-site and follow process.

You will travel to commercial, residential, and business locations to install, maintain, and troubleshoot IT and low-voltage systems. Typical assignments may include POS installations and peripheral swaps, security camera/CCTV support, ATM or kiosk-related tasks, network cabling work such as running, terminating, and testing Cat5e/Cat6, drive-thru system support, and other related field service requests.

To be successful, you should have solid field experience, strong problem-solving skills, reliable transportation, and the ability to communicate clearly with dispatch and clients. You must have a basic tool kit, a mobile phone, and a laptop, and you must be able to document your work with notes and photos when required.

Compensation is competitive and paid on a biweekly schedule. Mileage is reimbursed one way at the federal rate of $0.67 per mile, and approved parts are reimbursed the same day when properly documented.
