Salary: $120,000+/yr

Central Texas Recruiting is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer in Pittsburgh to lead the design and optimization of power distribution systems supporting critical energy infrastructure. This role focuses on electrical system design, safety compliance, project execution, and mentoring junior engineers across complex industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities

Lead electrical system and power distribution design

Perform arc flash reviews and safety mitigation planning

Support projects from concept through commissioning

Ensure compliance with NEC, IEEE, API, and NEMA standards

Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams

Support procurement and vendor coordination

Mentor junior engineers and support technical development

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (ABET)

8+ years of relevant engineering experience

PE license highly preferred

Experience with ETAP, MATLAB, PSCAD, or similar tools

Willingness to relocate and travel up to 50%
