Support of technical, requirements and design reviews meetings both internally and externally
Perform engineering studies, failure investigations and analysis, technical evaluations and options analysis for new equipment or modifications to existing equipment or structures;
Prepare engineering technical statements of requirements for equipment and systems procurement;
Prepare structural repair specifications as a result of an incident such as a grounding or a collision as well as systems’ repair specifications for corrective maintenance;
Develop system and equipment test and trials routines, and acceptance criteria;
Determine if equipment is obsolete and prepare Obsolescence Reports;
Qualifications and Experience:
Qualified mechanical/marine Engineering with significant Naval marine experience.
Familiarizations with Classification Society Rules
Minimum of 7 years relevant leadership experience in Naval marine environment
Knowledge of working with a Government and Naval customer base
Strong sense of working through a team.
The ability to adapt to rapidly changing business priorities and assignments.
