Title of the position: Restaurant Manager (NOC 60030).
Job duties:
● Manage, direct, control the operations of a Pizza Pizza restaurant.
● Implement operational procedures for the restaurant.
● Recruit employees and oversee their training,
● Create work schedules for employees.
● Oversee and evaluate the performance of employees.
● Control inventory, monitor revenues, manage cash flow, and modify procedures and prices.
● Resolve customer complaints and ensure that health and safety regulations are followed.
● Negotiate and arrange with suppliers for the shipment of food and supplies to the restaurant.
● Communicate and interact with the Pizza Pizza franchise headquarters to ensure that the
franchise’s standards are being met and their requirements are being followed at the restaurant.
Terms of employment: Permanent and full-time.

Wage: $36.00 per hour.

Skills requirements:
● Required education:
Secondary School.
● Required work experience and skills:
Must have at least 5 years of management experience
Management and operations experience
■ Track record in a customer-facing service business, preferably in food service or
retail.
■ Experience with managing a P&L, staffing, scheduling, and hour-by-hour
operations during peak times.
■ Ability to implement standard operating procedures, quality control, and health
and safety compliance procedures and rules.
■ Understanding of budgeting, cash flow management, and cost control (food
costs, labor, utilities, maintenance).
Leadership and people skills
■ Strong communication and interpersonal skills to recruit, train, and retain staff;
manage a diverse team; and engage with customers in a positive manner.
■ Ability to lead a team through busy periods, handle and resolve conflict, and
maintain a positive work culture.
Sales and customer service focus
■ Comfort with maintaining standardized menu offerings and brand guidelines
while maintaining consistent service levels.
■ Experience driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and managing
customer relationships.
Marketing and community engagement
■ Willingness to participate in community events and drive brand awareness
locally.
■ Familiarity with local marketing, promotions, and local store partnerships.
Regulatory and compliance know-how
■ Understanding of food safety regulations, licensing, health inspections, and
municipal permits.
■ Experience coordinating with landlords, municipal authorities, and suppliers.
Risk tolerance and an ownership mindset
■ Willingness to commit time and risk capital to own and operate a business.
■ Willingness to commit to being involved in day-to-day operations and long-term
growth planning.
