SELECTED ACHIEVEMENTS:

PROJECT MANAGEMENT: As a project manager on Corps of Engineer projects I developed and implemented Quality Programs to facilitate project success. I used my experience to coach other managers and superintendents to ensure success in their endeavors.
 The result was a favorable rating on all Corps projects and a higher degree of satisfaction on others.

PROBLEM RESOLUTION: When the company was in danger of losing its best account at Bell Helicopter I went in and analyzed the problem, developed a plan to correct it and through coaching and making my expectations clear.
 Implemented a plan that within a month had increased customer satisfaction to a level that we were given work at other Bell facilities.

HANDS-ON EXPERIENCE: I was brought in as a piping estimator for the industrial division of a large general construction company. I brought to the position a broader range of experience and as such my role with the company was highly specialized. After becoming proficient in the MC² estimating software, through analysis and experience I was able to recognize several inconsistencies and implemented the changes necessary correct them.
 More accurate estimating takeoffs and we secured several jobs for new clients.

PROJECT TURN-AROUND: I was the lead project manager and the one assigned to take over troubled projects. In these cases I would analyze the problems, develop a plan for corrective action, coach my subordinates in my expectations and implement corrective action.
 One of the biggest assets to the company was my ability to turn troubled projects into successful ones.

STRATEGIC PLANNING: Rapid growth in the company moved us to the development of a strategic plan. As a member of the team I recommended a marketing strategy to target new customers in a manner that would highlight our diverse services.
 The end result was an increase in our customer base and projects meeting our financial expectations.

CLIENT RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT: In the implementation of our marketing plan I researched opportunities with pipeline transmission companies. I implemented a customer account representative system in dealing with our new customers and coached our reps in how to best maximize our diversity to the best benefit of the customer and our company.
 We secured work with three major pipeline companies that resulted in work for all of our departments. We received an award from ANR pipeline to perform service at multiple cell sites around five compressor stations in two states.
