●Responsibilities:

●We were responsible for Support and Maintenance of the home grown Application that manages all of the Court Systems for Franklin County (Columbus, OH) Clerk of Courts . The courts are( Domestic, Civil Juvenile, Criminal and Appeals).

●The Franklin County Clerk of Courts is the second largest Court in Ohio behind Cuyahoga County (Cleveland, Ohio). The Court application tracked all cases from the original Capias through to the Judges ruling.

●The application produces all Summons, Checks, Certified Mailers and miscellaneous court documents sent to Defendants and Prosecutors.

●The application also creates and maintains scheduling of Court appearances for Defendants/Prosecutors along with the scheduling of court rooms for all of the Franklin County Judges.

●My manager and I were on call 24 hours a day 7 days a week 365 days per year. Our job is to fix any program abends that occur during the nightly batch runs. The nightly batch process prints all Summons, Checks, Certified Mailers and miscellaneous court documents to be snail mailed to the parties involved in the cases.

●In addition to the Clerk of Courts Application, I was solely responsible for maintenance and support for the Franklin County Auditor and Treasurer’s Application.

●All 3 applications have both Online(Green Screen) / Interactive (web) and Nightly Batch processing.
