Maintenance Supervisor

OBJECTIVE:

My goal is to secure a position with room for advancements in the areas of Maintenance and Janitorial and to utilize my skills that would benefit your organization.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Custodial knowledge: knowledge of cleaning methods, safety practices, chemicals, equipment and supplies used in general custodial work.

• Able to perform a full range of custodial duties related to the cleaning of assigned buildings and facilities.

• Team player and highly motivated to complete tasks.

MAINTENANCE EXPERIENCE:

• Supervise maintenance staff to ensure work is complete in a timely manner.

• Clean and sanitize restrooms and fixtures including sinks, urinals and toilets; wash windows, mirrors and walls, replenish supplies in restrooms.

• Sweep, vacuum, mop, wax, strip and polish floors, vacuum and shampoo carpets. Dust and polish furniture, woodwork, fixtures and equipment; clean counter tops. Regulate ventilation by cleaning ceiling vents to ensure healthy work environment.

• Empty, clean and sanitize waste receptacles; pick up papers and other debris. Replace lights and adjust shades.

• Move and arrange furniture and equipment and set up room for conferences and meetings.

• Identify and report building maintenance needs to management.
