As a Service Sales Representative I was provided a route that serviced a set customer base, through the pick-up and delivery of uniforms and facility services products such as floor mats, dust mops, air fresheners, soaps, restroom paper supplies, and other ancillary products. Duties involve driving a company owned box truck to and from numerous customer stops throughout the course of the day, as well as lifting, carrying and walking clean products into and soiled products out of customer accounts. As a Service Sales Representatives I was also responsible for customer satisfaction, by responding to customer inquiries and requests, as well as pro-active problem solving. Additional responsibilities include growing the existing route, through sales of additional items from our product line and catalog to current customers. When I became a Service Training Coordinator, I worked directly with a team of Uniform Service Sales Representatives/Route Drivers, both on route and in-house. Primary duties involve hands-on training newly hired Service Sales Representatives/Route Drivers on customer service and sales techniques. This includes driving the van to customer sites and riding along observing the Service Sales Representatives/Route Drivers. Additional responsibilities include assigning new customer stops to current routes and coordinating route coverage for vacations and holidays. In addition, ensuring training compliance for the location's Service Department is required. This is a middle management position with indirect supervisory and leadership responsibilities.

Responsibilities include opening and closing the store and assisting customers with questions, billing issues, and phone device problems. The duties entail the use of computer skills to access customer accounts, ring out customer purchases, and check inventory which involves receiving, and shipping products. Computer skills are also used with the internet to assist customers to make decisions, access facts on all the phones and also show customers how to order through our telesales. Responsibilities also include checking daily e-mails to determine current promotions and transfer that information to other employees.

Preparation of company reports that give details about the store’s progress must be properly generated and submitted to company officials in order to make important decisions.
