I was responsible for all quality assurance activities for the company along with the day to day operations management.

Director of Operations (5/07 – 7/08)

I was responsible for the general management of all plastics compounding at the company’s largest and most diverse plastics compounding operations and recycling facility in the Evansville area. Responsibilities included the development and management of related budgets, goals, and objectives. The company attained record productivity levels through the improvement initiatives implemented during this period.

Quality Director (2000 – 2002) (2004 – 2007)

I developed the systems, policies and procedures required for the establishment of a QS 9000 based quality system. I was responsible for the general management of the quality assurance systems and laboratory that performs testing for 5 manufacturing facilities. I transitioned the Evansville sites from QS 9000 to ISO 9001 in the spring of 2006.

I led the registration efforts of our Italian manufacturing facility to ISO 9001 in 2005 along with providing on going support services including internal audits for that site.

Operations Manager (2002 – 2004)

I managed the day to day operation of multiple single and twin screw compounding lines increasing the output from thirty five to over fifty million pounds per year. I established the manufacturing systems, policies and procedures that contributed to this increase.

I was responsible for the overall manufacturing operation of a multi-line plastics color concentrate

extrusion facility. Other responsibilities included but were not limited to overseeing maintenance functions, overseeing shipping and receiving functions, plant human resources, and plant, environmental, health, safety functions and new equipment installation.

• Developed and implemented computerized manufacturing reporting systems for the analysis of key operating elements. No formal system of this nature previously existed.

I was the primary interface between the engineered Materials Group and a major Japanese chemical company in the establishment of a plastics compounding joint venture.
