engineering for information gathering for submittals, pricing of

subcontract change order and payment applications, and certified

payroll compliance. Other duties included badging of personnel,

light Human Resources for new hires, terminations, and drug test

administration. Assisted project management with additional work

As the Project Secretary, duties included contract and subcontract

administration tasks such as: the review/submittal/logging of

certified payroll to be submitted on behalf of Sauer, and Sauer’s

subcontractors; invoicing the customer monthly using, FAR and AIA

specific document formats, a schedule of values, updating the

schedule of values upon approval of change orders, providing lien

releases to the customer when required from Sauer and Sauer

Subcontractors, writing change orders to subcontracts, processing

subcontractor pay applications/requisitions, maintaining an

electronic register of all general contract and subcontract

transactions such as: contract amounts, change order amounts, lien

release dates, transaction dates, net and gross balances due, vendor

filed notice’s to owner/contractor, current certified payroll

submittal, general liability and workman’s compensation insurance

expiration dates. This register was created by me to ensure all

required documents had been received prior to payment to the

subcontractor and to avoid lack of payment from owner/general

contractor. Document Control such as submittal of RFI’s (Request for

Information), DW’s (Deviation Waivers), and pre-construction/active

project/close-out submittals, assisting in the preparation of the

Safety and Health Plan for bidding purposes and job specific

requirements. Complete change order/cost proposal summations for

tasks outside of contract scope. Also, responsible for the

processing of general and project specific invoices and purchase

orders (using a job cost specific system).

Construction, duties included general office care, and maintaining

records on company vehicles, employees, vendors, pay applications.

Duties also included contract/subcontract administration duties

such as: requests for information (RFI), change orders/

supplemental agreements, subcontractors and rental equipment.

Estimating tasks were also required such as: ordering Bid

documents, bid bonds, enter bid items into construction estimating

software and Import/Export proposal into/out of Expedite and

Bid2Win. Also served as the Equal Employment Opportunity Liaison,

(EEO) the position included duties such as gathering from

subcontractors documents required to prove compliance with Florida
