Senior Claims Appraiser; whereas, I perform a vehicle damage analysis, which includes completing an estimate, negotiating repairs with the shop or owner, then issuing payment to settle the claim. I also handle total loss vehicle inspections and ultimately the vehicle value determination. I also implement salvage removal, and finally settlement negotiation with the owner(s). I perform direct repair shop re-inspections, and I am involved in customer relation matters. Finally, I testify as an expert witness in court litigation.

Senior Claims Appraiser/ trainer; duties included training coordinator, providing hands-on training as well as monitoring employee development. Direct repair program re-inspector, which included management of all repair shops within my inspection territorial region for estimate accuracy. However, my main function consisted of vehicle and property damage analysis, which entailed completing an estimate, then negotiating repairs with the shop or owner. Finally, I served as an expert witness in court litigation.

1977-1986 Owner/Operator, Superior Auto Body, Rome, NY

Evaluate vehicle damage and schedule vehicles for repairs. In addition, I supervised seven employees and was responsible for all account billing, ordering parts, and customer relations. Essentially, I performed all duties pertaining to managing a small business.
