Position responsibilities included planning production for mirror plating equipment and assembly for multi-shift operation; development of quality procedures; development of process improvements, standard operating procedures; developed and implemented company policies and procedures; established production completion reporting, and setting of production goals; forecast and maintain budgets; administered capital projects and equipment purchases.

Major accomplishments:

Increased production efficiency. Applied lean manufacturing principles to increase production throughput. Determined production goals for each work area and streamlined the manufacturing processes to provide maximum utilization of labor and reduce in-process inventory. Implemented the measurement of daily schedule completion. Results: Improve production output, product quality, labor efficiency, reduced scrap and total inventory.
