WORK EXPERIENCE

Field Engineer Support / Laborer
Proficient in Auto-CAD. Drafted concrete form sections for the new crusher in Penfield plant. Utilized surveying techniques for measuring, leveling, angle measuring, traversing and mapping in day to day operations. Applied methods and techniques learned in building construction projects. Extensive knowledge of structural steel, reinforced concrete, wood and a combined structural system.
Built recycling and asphalt plants. Added structures to concrete and sand plants all for the Dolomite group.
Blue print reading experience including drawing scales, symbols, sections, and structural steel detailing.
Assigned foreman position at Walworth Plant from 2002-2003. Utilized in laboratory testing (gradation) for aggregates. Extensive knowledge in all parts of the production operation, crushers, screening and conveying. Was involved in decision-making and management of work flow.
Passed “The Crane Institute of America” classes and operated cranes on Dolomite property only.
Heavy equipment operator on many sizes and several brands of cranes, bulldozers, graders, loaders, backhoe, earth and black-top rollers, and fork-lifts.
In charge of hauling equipment with a tractor-trailer (Low-boy). Have my class “A” license for 15 years.

Elected the Fire Chief of organization in 2001, and served one year term. Managed operations for eighty member team. Responsibilities included serving on the board of directors, being a member of finance management team, handling personnel issues, and crisis management.
Held an elected officer position from 1987 to 2001. Elected in positions of Lieutenant, Captain and Assistant Chief.
Acted as organization liaison in negotiations with legislators on state and local levels.
Active in fund-raising events.
Chairman for many subcommittees of the company.
On call as first responder to assist and manage critical incidents including fire, EMS and accident crises.
