Project Role: BO and ETL Developer

Working on an ETL project named “Customer Profitability” where data is extracted, transformed and loaded from Oracle Rapid marts into SQL Server Database. Worked on another ETL project named “Integrating Canada into Planning System” where data is extracted from Accpac ERP system into SQL Server database. The project involves building crystal reports, SSRS reports and Oracle Applications.

Project Responsibilities:

ETL Project 1: The main objective of the “Customer Profitability” project is to analyze the customer relationship based on gross revenue and costs associated with servicing the client. Reports will be generated based on the data to analyze the financial data in multiple views.

● Analyzed the Business Requirements (functional & technical) with the Business users.

● Analyzed on how the current SSIS package works.

● Mapped all the tables from Oracle 11i to Oracle Rapid marts.

● Built SQL queries for accounts like Gross Sales, Returns, Freight Costs, Cost of goods sold, Cost of returns, Sales Units, Sales Return Units, Other Discounts, Floor Model Discounts, Sales Allowances, AR trade Discounts, Exchange, Free Product Rebates, Rebates, Freight Costs, Freight Charges, Integrated Advertising Expense and ShowEx Expense .

Virtual Snack Bar Company Spring’09

● The main objective of this project is to create and sell a Snack Bar and also to understand the relationship between the following modules of SAP like MM, PP, SD and FICO.
