PURCHASING MANAGER
Engaged to develop consolidated purchasing processes to accommodate all procurement needs for distribution centers in California, Tennessee, and Pennsylvania. Responsible for acquisition of all direct/indirect operating supplies and equipment/facilities maintenance service needs for DCs through vendor negotiation and selection using SOW/RFP/RFQ processes. Collaboration with corporate facilities maintenance group and store services group to develop SOW and implement RFP/RFQ processes for assigned corporate/store purchasing programs. Reported to the Director of Purchasing.
• Procurement/Accounts Payable processing for all distribution center services, maintenance and operating supplies with an annual spend over $10 million
o Implemented use of Lawson ERP system throughout logistics network
• Management of corporate and nationwide store purchasing programs as assigned
