Relevant Skills:
I have been working in Atlanta’s commercial interior design field for many years as an Interior Designer and Project Manager. My specific responsibilities include programming to determine client needs, preparation of construction documents, design development, finish selection, coordination with engineers and contractors, selection of furnishings and fabrics, coordination with furniture vendors and construction/project administration. I am very experienced in working with clients and listening to them – asking the right questions to determine the “look” they are thinking of, how the work flows through their workspace and the functions that are needed. Clients find me helpful and friendly and always working hard to provide them the right interior design. Many of my clients have been repeat business showing that they were very happy with the experience of working with me. I am a LEED Accredited Professional and I am knowledgeable in sustainable design and adept at making projects as “green” as possible while staying within the design and budget parameters. I am knowledgeable on codes, detailing of custom work and I have often served as “quality control” by checking construction documents for co-workers. I am adept at using AutoCAD ADT 2007 for the efficient production of complex construction drawings.
