I am a senior Oracle Database Administrator with over 17 years experience and I specialize in implementations, performance tuning, and monitoring. I have extensive experience with multiple server platforms and operating systems, as well as disk arrays and RAID configurations.

I have experience in Oracle Applications version 11i and 12i as regards installation, cloning, and patching, and in all RDBMS versions from 6.0 thru 11g. I am quite comfortable with all aspects of adpatch, adadmin, and other Apps utilities.

• Responsible for all database administration for clients as well as internal Protégé systems, including but not limited to performance tuning, backups and recovery, Security Critical Patch Upgrades, server monitoring, and account administration.

• Converted a client from Oracle Applications Suite 11.5.10.1 (11i) to 12.0.4 (12i), including implementing Oracle HR. Final client conversion was completed in 64 consecutive hours.

• Upgraded an Oracle Applications Suite customer from 11.5.10.2 on Oracle RDBMS 9i to Oracle RDBMS 10.2.0.3

• Wrote monitoring scripts for clients providing 24x7 paging in the event of a Production failure.

• Implemented Oracle Financials 11i (11.5.6), including Oracle Portal and Oracle 9iAS. Maintained production and 3 development database environments for the first year. This included (but not limited to) patching, cloning, bug fixes, and some application administration.

• Implemented Oracle Advanced Replication between sites in the UK, Cambridge, and San Diego for an advanced compound discovery system that tracks new chemical compounds and assay results for the drug discovery process.
