Description: Legal & General is one of the largest and oldest Insurance Company operating in United Kingdom. It has different kind of Insurance policies and Insurance related product available in the UK market. The heart of their operation is maintained by a Business Process Management Framework which is customized to serve L&G business process need. This application is called AWD application which runs on top of AWD Framework provided by DSTi. The application takes Insurance documents from users, Agents through email, scanning and processes them to different department as per their business need using various workflows defined within the system.
Currently the application support is being transitioned to IBM, India. L&G and IBM, UK will take care of the problem management, enhancement and further development of the application.

It supports EJB fully and provides a GUI for easy deployment. All tools can be used from a centralized GUI.
