Seeking a fulltime/internship position as an engineer with a company where my knowledge and leadership skills can be applied.

• MS in Petroleum Engineering: Louisiana State University ( May/2011)

Project Title: “The Effect of Oil on Foam-Assisted Underbalanced Drilling Processes”

Description: This study for the first time focuses on the effect of oil on foam flow through pipes.By conducting a series of flow experiments in a wide range of test conditions, the effect of oil on foam rheology, foam flow patterns and foam stability was studied. In all the experiments the presence of two flow regimes separated by a critical value of foam quality was found. The effect of varying experimental conditions on the critical foam quality forms the basis of this study.

• BS in Mechanical Engineering: Joginpally Bhaskar Institute of Engineering Technology (JBIET) (May/2007)

Project Title: “Numerical Simulation of Flow Characteristics on a Flapped Airfoil”

Description: The project undertaken provides a review and analysis of numerical simulation studies around a 2D section of NACA 2412 series airfoil with a slotted-flap. Numerical analysis was carried out for both steady and unsteady conditions. The model was created using GAMBIT and the FLUENT 6.0 package was adapted in carrying out the analysis of the aerodynamic flows around the airfoil.

Reservoir Dynamics, Applied Drilling Engineering, Well Design Production, Advanced Well Design Completion, Advanced Well Testing, Surface Handling of Production Fluids, Advanced Upstream Petroleum Economics and Enhanced Oil Recovery.

CMG, AUTOCAD, CATIA, ANSYS, FLUENT, GAMBIT and Microsoft Office.

• Teaching assistant: Helped in conducting the Petroleum Field Operations Production Laboratory, teaching/grading basic Petroleum Fluids Properties and Petroleum Economics (Aug 2008 – Dec 2010).

• Student worker: Worked at LSU Petroleum Engineering Research and Technology Transfer Laboratory

(Aug – Dec 2008).This facility is an industrial-scale facility, having full-scale equipment and instrumentation for conducting research related to borehole technology. As a student worker we were allotted jobs relating routine maintenance work and research support.

• Tutoring: Tutored undergraduate student athletes in math, physics and chemistry (Oct 2007-May 2008).

Achievements:

• Was placed first at the Gulf Coast Regional Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) student Paper Contest for the year 2011.

• Will be representing Louisiana State University at the SPE International Student Paper Contest to be held at Denver, Colorado, Oct 2011.

• S. Panchadhara, R.N. Gajbhiye, G.S. Lee, and S.I. Kam, “The Effect of Oil on Foam Stability during Foam Flow in Pipes,” Editorial invitation, Exploration & Production: The Oil and Gas Review, 2011.

• Published and presented a paper at SPE ATCE 2009 titled “Adjustments in teaching a Petroleum Engineering field operations laboratory: An experience” (SPE 124742).
