Purchasing Operations Manager (07/2001-10/2008)

• Managed and tracked over 4,000 tasks that were assigned to buyers and negotiators for purchases that totaled over $162 million dollars in 2007.

• Compiled and provided senior management with detail purchasing task reports on a scheduled daily, weekly, monthly, yearly, and on demand basis.

• Developed, implemented, and obtained the Board of County Commissioners approval for the Purchasing Division budget of ($1+ million) as well as the Central Stores budget of ($4+ million) and also the Fuel Divisions Budget of ($7+ million)

• Managed and supervised up to ten (10) full time and three (3) part time employees in the Purchasing and Stores Divisions.

• Supervised and managed the Manatee County Stores warehouses and Fuel Services Division. Over 2.2 million gallons of fuel dispensed totaling over six (6+) million dollars per year. Stores issues (sales) were over four (4+) million dollars.

• Implemented a purchasing records database system and directly managed this system.

Inventory Operations Manager (12/1993-06/2001)

• Managed the inventory in two warehouses and provided the County internal and external personnel with their daily operational materials and supplies.

• Complete monthly cycle counts and submit requested inventory changes to the Purchasing Operations Manager for approval.
