I am a 36 year old who is very motivated, self-driven, hard-working Construction Manager in excellent physical

condition with 19-years in the construction field whose objective is to obtain a challenging position where I can apply

all of my skills and experience to contribute and/or learn. I have a consistent record of success overseeing all phases

of multimillion-dollar construction projects including hospitals, commercial, residential, multi-family, custom and

private-sector clients. Experience includes managing crews of up to 30 and getting sub-contractors organized to do a

ALCA CARPENTRY CONTRACTORS (Burr Ridge IL) Crew Leader/Carpenter, 9/10 to 01/12

Served as a crew leader of 8 to 10 building 1200sf to 1800sf living area platforms on the ground to be craned up and

landed on a 3 story buildings. Build/lead miscellaneous projects and set hundreds of windows. Frame living space

units with metal and wood studs along with a medical center in one of them. These 3 to 5 story multi-million dollar

buildings/jobs were for Bovis Lend Lease.

NWR CONSTRUCTION (Burr Ridge IL) Site Supervisor/Project Manager, 4/08 to 1/10

Lead crew and subcontractors to install a patient lift system to assist the nursing staff at North Chicago Veterans

Hospital in dozens of patient rooms. It was a multi-million dollar job funded by the government. Demo and remodeled

entire floors at Edward Hines Veterans Hospital and completed new additions/remodeling projects.

MICHEAL NICHOLAS CARPENTRY LLC (Elgin IL) Site Supervisor/Superintendent, 5/04 to 4/08

Supervised the carpentry for building of a 150+ home subdivision of single family houses ranging from 2500sf to

4000sf. Supervised crews up to 25 which includes time sheets, purchase orders, trained new employees, safety

monitor and paper work.

Career Highlights

At the age of 24 I purchased a piece of property and built my own custom house while I was working my 40 hour a

week job. Since then I have built 2 more homes. When I built these houses I did all required financing and paperwork,

scheduled and supervised all subcontractors, did my own carpentry work, and provided all project management.

I was a superintendent for a carpentry contractor and supervised a 150+ home subdivision with success.

At North Chicago Veterans Hospital in 2008 to 2009 I was the Project Manager of a multi-million dollar lift installation

that came in under budget and ahead of schedule.
