Senior Structural Engineer (2012-Present under new leader)

• Write Specifications for new product lines after review of all criteria for end use.

• Reduced man hours, costs, and brought projects in on time through effectively planning, scheduling, and implementation.

• Create new designs from customer specifications and company criteria.

Director of Engineering (2009-2011)

• Responsible for 4 direct reporting Managers and oversee over 80 engineers and configuration management personnel and responsible for headcount levels within the department.

• Took it from 50% on time to 95% on time, we cut costs by 50%, and reduced errors by 20%.

• Developed automated indexes. The indexes were a full part level definition of the aircraft that provided better configuration control, eliminated the human error in the drawing trees, provided better information to the downstream users to eliminate 200+ hours in data manipulation per aircraft.

• Took outsources global program that was outsourced and brought it in-house which in 1 year, saved $1M and dropped hours by 6,000 per product.

• Scheduled and planned engineering efforts for 3 product lines.

• Directly supervised 20 certification engineers, technical writers, and configuration management personnel. Developed management policies and plans; trained and developed team.

• Developed a certification conformity matrix. This was to list drawings, revision level, dash number and where it was in the process. This is still used today and is a key tool to getting the aircraft completed.

Program Lead-CL605 Structural Engineering (2007-2008)

• Supervised 10 engineers and responsible for all headcount levels within the department.

• Reviewed design specifications and design packages; scheduled and designed aircraft interiors to meet customer requirements.

• Developed a matrix that showed the production code level, the drawings, the serial number and a check box for existing or new that proved to be the basis for future index creation as well as an overall work scope definition and burn down of remaining drawings.
