Assisted in Design, Development and Delivery of Applications to fulfill key business needs.
Responsibilities:
• Assisted in the implementation of WebServices to retrieve Customer Loyalty Information, Loyalty points, rewards etc.
• Merged a Complex Release Branch back into the Trunk using Subversion by talking to various developers in the team who had worked on the particular code.
• After the merge, resolved the conflicts that arised as a result of overlap of the changes done to the same file by some other programmers.
• Used Wix to create an Installer Package.
• Implemented WiX to create and delete Scheduled Tasks on install and uninstall of the .msi file respectively.
• Customized the Installer to add flexibility by adding a Feature to it which provides the user with an option to select or unselect the creation of the Scheduled task during the process of Installation.
• Integrated the Unit Tests in the project into the build process using MSBuild.
• Migrated the Build file from Visual Build Professional to MSBuild.
• Used PowerShell script to call an Oracle Stored Procedure, write the data pulled by the stored procedure into a file and upload the file onto a FTP server.
