WORK EXPERIENCE

Placement within St Matthew’s Childcare in the Preschool Room . Whitby.ON

Aide the teachers in day to day routines for the child and ensure children are supervised at all times

Along side the teacher I am learning to lead children in routines by reading stories, sining songs, demonstrating the usage of basic musical instruments Develop activity plans that introduce math,science and literacy concepts

Help provide guidance with tasks and assist in showing the children safety. Observe children for indications of learning disabilities or emotional troubles and get acceptable action

Provide the children with a comfortable environment that allows the to feel safe secure and look forward to each day.

Provide crafts and activities for the children and sit with them and assist them with the task at hand

Support and assist children from growth to dressing and toilet routines

Put bed blanket and pillows out for sleep and rest time

Implement positive discipline when required

Discuss progress or troubles of children with teachers whom them discuss with dad and mom and also other workers members

Clearly and effectively communicate in a manner that children are able to understand
