Present: Contract Spanish interpreter and translator for the Wyoming Public Defender, independent legal firms, medical practices and social welfare agencies.
US Census Bureau, September 2010-Present: Bilingual Field Representative conducting ongoing surveys. Work involves outreach to educate households on the importance and confidentiality of data solicited.
January – August 2010: Bilingual crew leader for operations and quality assurance to verify accuracy and confidentiality. Interpreted for non-English-speaking Hispanics in an 11-county area comprising more than 50% of Wyoming population.
The work required planning, organizing and coordinating a group of 12 field workers who visited residences to verify that accuracy of surveys that had been previously conducted. As crew leader was responsible for monitoring the quality of their work, coaching and building morale. My team was the most successful (of six teams) in terms of absolute figures and percentage or work completed.

Created and wrote and sourced product brochures and fan newsletter as a means to increase public relations effectiveness and build loyalty.
