Assistant Property Manager & Apartment Inspector
Responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of daily operations at this 12,000 unit
major apartment Complex which includes:
• Managing and directing a maintenance department of approximately 50 employees including
setting their daily schedules and managing their payroll
• Overseeing the efficient repair and upkeep of the complexes 12,000 units
• Ensuring the timely completion of hundreds of daily work orders through the establishment
of a daily tracking system of inspections where deficiencies can be immediately noted and
follow up is assured
• Maintaining excellent cooperative relationships with property owners, building operators,
tenants, and the public
• Effective use of multiple computer applications (spreadsheets, word processing, calendar, e-mail
and various database software) ensuring efficient and cost effective management of time
Apartment Inspector responsibilities are to conduct initial inspections of all apartments prior to leasing.
Inspections include:
• Checking and ensuring overall preservation of apartment including lighting, electrical,
appliance inspection, plumbing, flooring, heating, ventilating, sanitary and overall appearance
of living facility
• Ensuring proper installation of all heating, lighting, ventilating and plumbing fixtures
• Preparing detailed inspections reports for management and property owners

Foreman – Metal Polishing
Responsible for overseeing and reviewing jobs performed by workers on job sites to ensure work
being carried out properly and efficiently. Also, due to expertise with metals, called upon by
contractors on various residential and commercial metals projects in the tri-state area where the
use of complex chemical mixtures was required. Metals included: elevators, large commercial
entrances, revolving doors, decorations, sidewalk fixtures and others.
Foreman - Painter/Sprayer 2005 - 2006
Prepared sheetrock and other wallboard and surfaces prior to painting. This included washing
down walls, scraping, sanding and sandblasting. Mixed and blended various paints, enamels,
lacquers, varnishes, stains and special protective coatings to achieve desired color and consistency.
Caulked, cemented and plastered holes and cracks. Erected ladders and scaffolding.
Other Skills: Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Tishman Speyer’s proprietary system used for communicating work orders. Member of Union 8A-28A Metal Refinishing and DC-9 PAINTERS Union
Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, sheet-rocking, plaster, ceramic tile installation,
wood floor refinishing.
Education: Some college coursework completed overseas. Property Management Certification,
Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Certification and Lead Paint Certification.
Currently enrolled in obtaining a Home Inspection License.
