. Lead associate on a team that secured a $125 million settlement for an

advertiser concerning its antitrust and false advertising claims against

a competitor, and drafted key injunctive provisions that began the

process of settling the case.

. Assisted an advertiser in securing dismissal, on summary judgment, of

defamation, deceptive trade practices, and business tort claims. Insignia

Systems, Inc. v. News America Marketing In-Store, Inc., 661 F.Supp.2d

1039 (D. Minn. 2009).

. File Hart-Scott-Rodino (HSR) pre-merger notification submissions with the

FTC and Department of Justice and obtain clearance for transactions,

often avoiding Second Requests.

. Represented a major Indian pharmaceutical company in a deal valued at

over $3 billion that created one of the world's largest pharmaceutical

companies.

. Represented one of the world's 20 leading pharmaceutical companies in its

milestone acquisition of a U.S. pharmaceutical company.

. Perform analyses on behalf of domestic and foreign entities concerning

the Sherman Act, Clayton Act, Lanham Act, FTC Act, and other federal

statutes.

. Research for and draft various court papers including Daubert motions,

motions in limine, motions for summary judgment, motions to dismiss,

motions to compel, and affidavits.

. Prepare economic experts for depositions and develop expert reports and

testimony concerning antitrust issues.

. Designed and managed the electronic review of document production, and

supervised 24 associates reviewing a database of over a million

documents.

. Draft discovery documents, including document requests, interrogatories,

and subpoenas, and responses to same.

. Counsel trade associations concerning compliance with antitrust laws.
