* Responsible for a university research project (valued at $500,000) with the Marshall School of Business and School of Social Work and a major corporate sponsor to improve both operational efficiency (lean manufacturing) and improve cross-cultural communication in manufacturing at a model factory located in Latin America.

* Solicited a corporate sponsor and organized a research project valued at $500,000 to advance high-speed medical imaging research and to establish a comprehensive academic program designed to translate advanced cardiovascular imaging methods into clinical applications.

* Secured corporate support for a pilot research project valued at $300,000 to gauge the long-term viability and effectiveness of an innovative transdermal therapy designed to enhance muscle function and recovery. Future sponsored research is expected to assess findings and optimize parameters for enhanced therapeutic effectiveness and to develop new applications for technology.

* Worked with program organizers to garner industry funding of $200,000 (per year) to host annual major university conference designed to showcase research advancements within the area of “Body Computing” healthcare technology and to highlight the Keck School of Medicine research undertakings and accomplishments.
