Objective
I am a hard working, organized and dedicated individual who wishes to work full time in the special event planning industry. I currently work as an office manager during the week and as a wedding assistant in the Metro Atlanta area on weekends. I have office experience in contracts, collections, inputting money, making appointments, customer service and operations. My true passion is designing and planning events. I have prior experience in special event planning and public relations with the March of Dimes and the Merle Manders Conference Center, as well as planning weddings for family and friends. What I love most about designing and planning weddings and events is turning a client’s hopes into the event of their dreams. I recently completed the Certified Wedding & Event Planner course through The Wedding Planning Institute and have a Certificate in Event Planning from Clayton State University. My goal is to eventually earn a Certified Special Events Professional certification from the International Special Events Society (ISES).
