SELECTED ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Planned senior leadership retreat. LCMS congregation wanted to enhance the involvement/leadership capability of 40 lay volunteers involved in writing a new constitution. Organized program adapting work from Healthy Congregations, providing a transformative learning experience. Led to formation of a constitutional committee with strong leadership.
Turned around dispirited congregation. A conflict over a new gymnasium project at Immanuel was threatening the future of the organization. Student enrollment was down and the Church had difficulty paying gym mortgage. Worked with board and members to resolve conflict and improve leadership. Increased enrollment by 25% and raised $50K through an auction, saving school.
Improved outreach capacity of congregation. Board at Immanuel desired to provide outreach training to increase membership. Tasked with designing curriculum and identify / contract with lay teachers.
