I am a dynamic individual with nearly 20 years of experience in restaurant management. I have managed high volume restaurants for nearly 10 years. Took over a 20 thousand dollar a week restaurant and brought sales up to the 30’s within one month of taking over. Revamped a poor staff and replaced them with future leaders and go getters. Worked within a strict food budget and kept labor under 14%. I was influential in having old guest that had quit visiting to come back as regulars. I also take a lot of pride in making sure that recipe’s are being followed and that every plate goes out on time and eye appealing. I am keenly involved in the training of my management team and their continued growth.
I personally oversaw all scheduling including that of my management team and their divisions.
Golden Corral 2008-2011 Kitchen Manager:
Involved with every aspect of running a multi-million dollar buffet. I was directly involved in the hiring and training of nearly the entire staff during the successful grand opening of the Danville, Virginia store. Perform food orders daily, meeting budgeted expectations and still meeting corporate requirements and guest’s needs. I run a productive labor, within all corporate guidelines. I am serve safe certified and continuously score in the top percentile in all health related inspections. Catered events for the community as well as several local businesses.
Back to Bogies General Manager: 2006-2008
Involved in the creation of staff, payroll, menu contributions, and hiring of entertainment of a newly formed successful restaurant in the community. Created a dynamic dining experience for the guest and an enjoyable working environment for my staff. Drove sales through community relations and local advertising. In charge a five person management team, and scheduled all employees. Involved in all aspects of the P and L statements insuring a net profit consistently. Catered on site for a wide variety of functions.
Rock-Ola Café manager : 1994-2006
Directly involved in the grand opening of four restaurants. Served as kitchen, service, and hospitality manager. Hired, scheduled and trained numerous employees (some still employed today). Ordered all foods, paper products, chemicals, and linens needed to become the number one franchise in the company. Consistently met all company standards concerning labor, food cost, and maintenance. Consistently operated a profit gain and kept within all company standards.
