I have worked over twelve years in food or food service sales, sales management, or general management. My exemplary talents in sales encompass making contact by cold-calls, walk-ins, phoning for appointment (my strongsuit), and closing is what I consider a “given”. I have established relationships with major food outlets, award winning chefs, national contract feeders (e.g. Aramark, Sodexo, Compass Group, Sage, Centerplate, Guckenheimer, Epicurean Feast camps too, Maryland Racing Assoc., Spectrum etc.), caterers, and purchasing agents throughout Northeast U.S. markets.
I served as VP/Sales of Pastore Seafood for 8 years, and can provide reference from Paul Pastore, former owner. Within my tenure at Pastore I sold the best restaurants; best chefs (e.g. Lydia Shire, Chris Schlesinger, Daniel Bruce, Maria Esposito of WGBH, et.al.) I also sold to Gate Gourmet and LSG/Sky Chefs, which at the time catered 37 airlines at Logan Airport. Most of the aforementioned stayed with me my entire career in the seafood business. My transition from food sales to food service sales was made easy by my success and established relationships in the food industry, seafood especially.
