MANSFIELD OIL COMPANY-GAINESVILLE, GA 2010 – 2011 PROJECT MANAGER/PROJECT MANAGEMENT OFFICE

Provided oversight for assigned projects within the company’s Business Technology department. Worked with the individual business entities to identify their needs and ensure those needs were met during the development of their software applications.

Provided fiscal and operational oversight over multiple projects utilizing both internal and offshore resources.

Managed operational metrics to ensure projects were both on time, on schedule and within quality parameters.

Worked to establish standard operating procedures and protocols for newly formed Project Management Office.

STRATIX CORPORATION-NORCROSS, GA 2005 – 2009

REGIONAL OPERATIONS MANAGER

Provided operational oversight for the deployment of an advanced tracking system within the supply chain of a major federal agency. Responsible for the training, implementation and quality assurance processes for the integration of the system.

Provided oversight for the physical installation and documentation for more than 1000 satellite tracking devices. Proactively monitored asset visibility ensuring both process and product “up time” during emergency and non emergency responses.

Conducted regular risk assessments and quality assurance reviews to evaluate compliance with requirements and to identify potential gaps in policies, procedures and business processes.

Directly managed deployed field teams assigned throughout the eastern United States. Deployed teams ranged in size from 20-50 persons dependent upon the size and severity of the event. Managed 10-20 Communications Center personnel who were responsible for the accuracy and timeliness of field data vital to the successful implementation of both tactical and strategic decisions.

Served as the project’s Training Manager, developing and integrating a comprehensive training program utilizing both classroom lectures and “hands on” instruction. Administered orientation and advanced training for newly contracted employees.

Served as the project’s Subject Matter Expert for the transponder tracking device.

ACHIEVEMENTS:

Identified two additional revenue opportunities with mutual benefits to both company and client. Utilizing existing company resources, presented a cost effective plan to upper management that would repair rather than replace damaged units. In addition, implemented a national search and recovery program designed to locate and capture transponder devices no longer controlled within the supply chain. These initiatives opened additional revenue streams for our company while reducing the replacement costs for the client.

Identified a defect within the transponder manufacturer’s upgrade program which would have resulted in massive outages and severely degraded the client’s ability to maintain asset visibility.

CONNOR ENVIRONMENTAL-BALTIMORE, MD

BUSINESS /OPERATIONS MANAGER 2002-2003

Oversaw the operational and financial functions of the assigned project. Managed logistics and operations from inception through deployment, completion and closure. Created operating budgets, analyzed profit and loss statements, and reconciled account receivables/payables with the company’s Accounting Manager.

ACHIEVEMENTS:

Reduced operational variance from 52% to 41% over a 14 month period.

Negotiated rates with vendors resulting in a 17% reduction while increasing value added benefits.

Successfully maintained a 95% compliance to schedule despite numerous obstacles caused by both natural and artificial circumstances.

AREA RESOURCE MANAGER

Responsible for the coordinated logistical requirements for 8-20 two person teams on a national environmental project. Assisted the Human Resources department with employee orientations, workman’s compensation claims and obtaining documentation for state and federal licensure.
