Engineer / Staff Engineer - Rates Testing (1996-2010)
Responsible for designing, developing and training for software for rates testing group utilizing C#, WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation), C++, C, VB, HTML and XML using and .NET.
• Designed and wrote software programs to test electronic meters written in C# using SQL, WPF, SQL Server, Excel and Access using .NET 3.5.
• Architected and wrote software in C#, WPF and XML under .NET to extract and analyze data from the electronic meters, which compared information from Web services tools and electronic meters job packages for proper billing to customers. The data is transferred through TCP/IP.
• Developed and designed a testing protocol and commands needed to communicate between two PCs or via a network to test data to be captured by electronic meters, written in C# using SQL, WPF and .NET. One PC contains an electronic meter simulator.
• Developed and designed a simulator for electronic meters written in C++ to analyze data before the entire product is released.
• Wrote a program to test the accuracy of data to be captured from the electronic meters, written in C#, WPF and SQL using .NET framework 3.5. Comparison data stored HTML, XML, Excel, ClearCase and Access data files.
• Utilized C and VB to write software to organize components data in an embedded system, including the electronic meter’s operating system, organized depending on their size and the computer EPROM chip boundaries.
• Designed and wrote software to compress data format to be embedded in computer EPROM chips, written in C++.
• Analyzed and created data from US and other post offices throughout the world, utilizing C#, WPF, XML, HTML, XHTML, JavaScript, SQL Server, Access, Excel and custom formats.
