Draftsman/Builder/General Contractor 1994 -2010. Jepson Design & Construction, Salem, Oregon. As owner and sole proprietor of Jepson Design & Construction for past 16 years, I have had the opportunity to develop a high degree of skill as an Architectural Draftsman.

• Work consists primarily of Custom Residential Design, new custom homes, remodel and/or additions and Light Commercial projects.

• Drafting work is typically for General Contractors who are seeking the highest quality, professional working drawings, customized for their specific needs.

My work as an Automatic Fire Sprinkler Designer has given me the most valuable opportunity

to develop commercial CAD skills. It requires the ability to work with a wide verity of CAD file formats form numerous subcontractors, manufactures, fabricators etc.. and merging all kinds of construction documents into one comprehensive set of shop drawings that are quite often much more detailed that the Architects plans. I have made shop drawings for Fire Sprinkler and HVAC plans for a very wide variety of buildings; military installations, government buildings, libraries, hi-rise office buildings, schools, warehouses, shopping malls, retirement centers, hospitals, truck stops, sawmills…This has given me the opportunity to be familiar with a may types of construction and building types at a very detailed level.
