El Dorado Correctional Facility (July 2006-Present) El Dorado, KS.

El Dorado Correctional Facility is the largest prison in the state of Kansas. Duties include operating and maintaining weapons, such as rifles, hand guns, 37mm/40mm grenade launcher, shotguns, less than lethal grenades and munitions; supervising prisoners in their daily activities in segregation, general population and capitol punishment inmates; uphold regulations, policies and procedures of the Kansas Department of Corrections; maintained a daily log book; communication skills; perimeter patrol and perimeter towers; conducting searches of cells and open areas; running baggage check and x-ray machines; apprehending offenders with various restraints. Basic computer skills including Microsoft ect. Software.

• After just six months was recruited to join the special security team. Duties include; forced cell moves, special management inmates, assisting with mass movements, transports off-site to; court, medical appointments and emergency medical by ambulance and dealing with situations that normal officers could not handle.

• Member of the (SORT) (S)pecial (O)perations (R)esponse (T)eam chemical and less than lethal section. Extensive training in O/C, C/S and CN chemicals through all types of devices and applications. Also an Instructor of Chemical and Less than Lethal Munitions in the state of Kansas. Trained for riot situations and barricaded suspects.

• Worked with Kansas Bureau of Investigation to extract DNA and finger prints from offenders.
