DAQ OPTIMIZATION SYSTEM FOR SAE FORMULA 1 2011-2012 RACE CAR
• Design and built a stand-alone unit DAQ system to enhance the performance of an existing formula 1 2011-2012 race car to produce fastest lap-time
• Material used: DAQ module, Microcontroller, series of analog sensors such as; speed sensors, potentiometer and strain gauges
• Software: Arduino Mega 2560 C coder; LABVIEW
Fuzzy Robot:
• Part 1:Design and build a robot from scratch that would find an exit to a maze and return to initial position
• Part 2: Customize the robot in part 1, so that it can be manually controlled by a remote wirelessly
• Part 3: Customize the robot in Part 1 and 2 such that it is able to switch between two modes and uses fuzzy logic
• Draw NX 7.5 CAD model with detail drawings
• Use NX7.5 to show simulation of its movement
Tire Assembly mechanism
• Designed a small scale prototype for automation of tire assembly
• Used NX5 for CAD model and detail drawings
• Achieved excellent grades for writing an engineering report
Fluid Power System
• Designed and simulated fluid power system for snow removal truck
• Used Automation Studio for simulation of various hydraulic parts
