System/Senior System Analyst: 2000-2008
Performed Unix/Aix System Administrator responsibilities for IBM/AIX computers. Duties included Tier I & II support for the Operating System, system security and performance tuning required to maintain system/server availability for client and user access. Added and managed user accounts, performed OS upgrades, coordinated and performed application upgrades (Oracle, MQ series), performed firmware and hardware upgrades, scheduled and coordinated hardware service and repair work. Also, coordinated a variety of interconnecting tasks and responsibilities for other work groups such as computer operations, DBA/Database Management, and application development.
Communications Technician -Network Operation Services: 1997 - 2000
Trained and performed analysis and maintenance support on Nortel DMS 100/200 Access Tandem and TOPS (Telephone Operator Services) Switch equipment for call processing of telephone service using DSC-STP, IDST, and Secure7 Switching Systems. Duties includes monitoring call processing activity, log reports analysis, isolation of hardware equipment faults and software (translation) errors, hardware component replacement, making backups of disk files to tape for local and remote storage, testing and trouble-shooting message trunks and related periphery. Also wired and provisioned SS7 links, equipping associated facilities, testing and activating links for customer use.

Communications Technician - Information Services: 1994-1997
Performed AIX/UNIX System administration and support services for both IBM AIX/RISC 6000 Mid-Range and AT&T 3B-5/3B15/3B20/3B1000 families of minicomputers.
