• Oversee the Order Management process from order creation through order fulfillment for approximately $2.3 billion in
annual sales volume to both our retail partners and owned retail stores.
• Work directly with our Sales, Design and Production teams to accurately plan and execute each delivery season.
• P&L responsibility for 54 direct exempt and non-exempt employees in the Customer Service, Customer Relations,
Vendor Agreement and Business Solutions Groups.
Vice President - Corporate Business Solutions Group 5/04 – 10/05
• Operate as an internal business strategy consultant working with Divisions Presidents on Supply and Demand initiatives
designed to generate growth, meet corporate strategic objectives, increase inventory turns and exceed financial goals.
• Worked closely with our l.e.i. jeans division to increase inventory turns from 4.2 annually to 6.4 annually over a one year
timeframe. This resulted in a shorter speed to market timeframe and decreased carrying costs.
• Oversee our Customer Relations department designed to act as a single point of contact for key Jones Apparel Group retail
customers and ultimately avoid shipping related chargebacks.
Director – Corporate Business Solutions Group 10/02 –5/04
• Drive strategic corporate projects as they relate to acquisition integration, systems design, systems integration,
internal/external logistics, and customer satisfaction.
• Determine the needs of our customers and leverage best practice techniques throughout the organization
Director of Engineering 6/01 – 10/02
• Manage engineering department including engineering managers, corporate engineers, and facility engineers located
throughout the United States at 17 distribution centers
• Work closely with heads of the Development, Production, Distribution, and Sales departments to streamline their business
practices in order to decrease their concept to market timeframe.
• Lead the analysis and start up of a cross-belt unit sorter within our El Paso, TX facility resulting in reduced labor and
increase order fulfillment. Total project cost of $9mm with a 2.1 year ROI.
• Budgetary responsibilities for both the engineering department and distribution facilities
Engineering Manager 6/99 – 6/01
• Managed six industrial engineers ranging from corporate engineers to facility engineers. These engineers manage projects
throughout all distribution and production centers including Pennsylvania, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina,
New Jersey, Tennessee, Texas, and Canada.
Corporate Engineer 4/97 - 6/99
• Corporate engineer overseeing the installation of an RF based Warehouse Management System (PkMS). Facilities affected
include distribution centers located in Pennsylvania, Virginia, North Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Canada.
• Duties included the re-engineering of all processes and procedures throughout the Jones distribution network.
