Introduction:
My name is Robin Starodub. I’m a mother of three, two boys and a girl. My oldest son Justin, has graduated 2011, and figuring out what he wants to do. My second son James, is in grade 10 and my daughter Jocelyn is going into grade one. I went back to school in 2009, through Taking Charge. It’s for single mothers to help them get back in to the work force or school. I choose school I definitely needed to go back to school, since it had been close to twenty years. I went to Winnipeg Adult Education Center, and loved it. I excelled in all my classes. Which were grade eleven and grade twelve math, and English, I also took World issues and Native studies. Where I learned a lot about Sudan, and in Native studies I learned about the Seven teachings, and the sacred grounds in West hawk Lake, The Petraforms. I graduated in 2011 and decided to go Red River College. As I complete the Educational Assistant program through Red River College. I plan to work in a Winnipeg school, which will be very exciting.
