More than Seven years experience in onshore Geophysical investigations Gravity- Magnetic and Seismic data acquisition, processing, and interpretation for oil & Gas services and mineral exploration. Geological and Geophysical studies in various aspect of earth science field.

Detailed Gravity-Magnetic study Mohar caldron in Pichor theseal, Shivpuri District, Madhya Pradesh, India for Govt. of India, Dept. of Atomic Energy, Atomic Mineral Directorate for Exploration & Research (AMD) Hyderabad.

Job Profile: Project Management of Gravity-Magnetic survey.

• Supervisory and professional surveying work in directing the activities of the personnel of a survey section,

Involves responsibility for planning, overseeing, checking, and evaluating the activities of the section, effective utilization of personnel, the establishment and adherence to work schedules and for the accuracy and completeness of work performed.

• Plan, schedule and execute various survey jobs required for the project, source teams and services

• Develops project plans to implement strategic goals. Meeting deadlines Conducts project assessment and performs task planning to identify milestones, resource needs, schedule, and budget recommendations.

• Arranging the works to various survey teams and other technical teams, assisting with the preparation of documents, coordination with contractors on site, contract administration and Site visits and inspections.

• Managing all as built drawings and contour maps in the monthly progress report

• Assigns survey crews to perform surveying assignments as requested; allocates and reallocates personnel to meet deadlines and to maintain effective utilization of staff; checks jobs in the field for methods, crew utilization, and rate of progress.

• Checks work upon completion for performance and completeness; forwards work to requesting parties

(2.) Employment with Institute of Seismological Research, Govt. Of Gujarat, Gandhinagar, Gujarat, India.

I have joined July 2007 as a Geophysicist and upgraded as Sr. Geophysicist on Nov. 2010 to Feb 2011 at Institute of Seismological Research (ISR), Govt. of Gujarat, India. I have involved a number of different geophysical and seismological projects. A brief detail is as below:

Gravity-Magnetic Survey to study the structural behavior and trend of different faults in Kachchh region Gujarat.

Detail geological GPR and magnetic study between Dholavira and Desalpar for the identification of active fault.

Refraction Survey for GSPC (Gujarat state power corporation) in Mundra by using explosive as an energy source with 28 Hz frequency geophones and using Geometrics made seismic data recorder.

Resistivity and refraction seismic sounding for obtaining the depth to as well as thickness of limestone depth in the areas Near Shangipuram, Wagapadher and Lakhpat, kachchh district, Gujarat for GMRDC (Gujarat Mineral Research & Development Society) Gandhinagar.

Passive survey through Refraction method (using 4.5 Hz geophones) with Geometrics made data recorder, for acquiring the Engineering Bed rock information using microtremors as source.

MASW (Multichannel Analysis of Surface waves) Seismic reflection Survey with 4.5 Hz frequency with Geometrics made data recorder and 10kg hammer as an energy source for investigation of the velocity of the shear waves in different areas in Gujarat - Dholera, Gandhinagar, Gandhidham, Mundra, Anjar, Bhuj, and Bhachau etc.

Surface wave Group and Phase velocity inversion of regional earthquakes recorded at ISR BBS stations Gujarat.

Seismological earthquake data archiving, Monitoring and analysis at ISR Gandhinagar Gujarat, India.

Shear wave velocity investigation with MASW technique for the subsurface study in different areas of Gujarat.

Suspension type PS-logging to measure PS-velocity in geotechnical engineering for shallow depth study in Dholera and Gandhinagar Gujarat India.

Passive survey through Refraction method (using 4.5 Hz geophones) with Geometrics, for acquiring the Engineering Bed rock information using microtremors as source.

(3.) Employment with Wadia Institute of Himalayan Geology, Govt. Of India, Dehradun, Uttaranchal, India.

I have worked in Wadia Institute of Himalayan geology Dehradun on Sep. 2004 to July 2007 as a Research Scholar (Geophysics Group). The detail of some work is as below:

Shallow Seismic 2D Reflection Survey around Hardwar, Dehradun and Panchkulla region by using MASW technique (Multi-channel analysis of surface waves) with 4.5 Hz Geophone.

Established Seismological network of sixty Broad Band seismic stations in NW Himalaya. Acquisition, Processing and analyzing its seismic data for monitoring of Himalayan seismicity.

Microzonation work for Dehradun and New Delhi using MASW technique (Multi-channel analysis of surface waves) with 14.5 Hz Geophone.

Trainings

Underwent training on CG-5 gravimeter field handling by Mr. Peter Mistry (Manager, Gravity Group, SCINTREX, Canada) at ISR, Gandhinagar.

Training on Resistivity meter DDR-3, (IGIS made) data acquisition and processing under the supervision of Mr. R.K.Singh, (Senior Geophysics Geological Society of India) at ISR Gandhinagar.

Successfully completed training on Proton Magnetometer data acquisition and interpretation, held at Institute of Seismological Research Gandhinagar, Gujarat.

Lectures and training on Seismic Refraction and Reflection data acquisition, processing and interpretation by OYO International, Japan held at Institute of Seismological Research Gandhinagar India.
